Re: Newbs
It's not about people joining the group. It's about them being productive members. People coming in and posting 10 in a row on the same thread....People posting 1 word answers in threads just to get their posts up.
I have this CRAZY idea....Why don't all the newbs take their time and come up with good posts? it's not a difficult thing to do

Re: Newbs
All users were noobs at one time or another. I post maybe 50 times total per day on many different boards. I usually post mult-paragraph posts.
But, why should I stick around here? I can't see the forum that I came here for. I can browse around the other forums a bit and see if anything catches my eye but seriously, why? It's just the same banter that is all over the web. I came here because there is a forum that is reletivly unmoderated that has massive numbers of babe posts.
The owners here should figure out exactly what it is that they want. Is the bandwidth costing too much? Then they should limit uploads or limit bandwidth. Do they want massive ammounts of users so their ad revenue will increase? Do they just want to keep the users they have now and push any new users away?
I feel for the owners. These choices are not simple ones.
But simply bashing all noobs is not the answer and would make me wonder if it's the noobs who are the problem or the unaccepting older users who have issues.
A noob on this board is not necessicairily a noob on the web.

Re: Newbs
Never a truer statement. That should be posted as a reply under the new rules.
