I'd say if you're consistently "cheating" with the same person online, it approches that edge. But other than that, I agree with kaos, it's gotta be in RL.

Well I guess it's not fully cheating but in my opinion it's pushing it. Why cyber when you've got the real thing. And if there are things that you can only do over the net and not with your bf/gf in real life, then cyber with your bf/gf.

If you have a girl who doesn't want you watching porn, it is still cheating. Again, it is breaking the confines of the relationship. However, it seems that women like to watch porn as much as men, so it's normally all cool.

Ok, I've been a victim of a loved one cybercheating on me, and it sucks.

This is my view on the whole thing and what's cheat, etc...

If there are any sexual conversations going on between the two, then yes it's cheating. As far as a membership to a pornsite, it's the same as to a subscription to playboy, there's no interaction and who cares. Sharing nude photos among each other, fantasies, phone calls, intentions of meeting, etc..is a big nono.

As long as chatting online between the two stays as friends and friendly only, then no harm done. Anything beyond that is cheating. Just because it's online doesn't mean it's any better/worse. It's like your man showing his penis to a woman at a bar and asking her what she'd do with that penis, if that makes any sense.

OK, I have to disagree with a couple of concepts here (no one in particular)and also add something(sorry, not in your circle of friends and not a regular poster).

If you are in a relationship and you go behind your partners back on anything, that is a bad idea you say. What if you don't get everything you need/want from your partner, and they forbid everything else? IE, porn, cyberstuff, etc.? Then what do you do? Live with it? Nope, you do what you have to do. If you went into the relationship with porn, cyber stuff, etc. and they knew about it, what else could they expect? You can't unlearn some behaviors. As for most guys I know, porn is a big part of single life from the time you first whack off. Then a partner comes along and says "uh-uh" you can't do that anymore? And I am not in the mood either? Well, screw that.

I guess what I am saying is it can be more complex than a simple one on one dynamic. Most things are. So then do you tie yourself to the same principles/ethics even though now they can make you miserable/unfulfilled? Or do you "evolve" them? Do you keep the same learned morality you were taught and held true, or do you alter it?
