for me, gigasize downloads 3 times as fast as rapid share. here's what I did...I uncensored it as there are links up using it. we can discourage it and possibly close new threads using it...what do the other mods think?

I second that. I happen to think rapidshare is decent. I know the wait on the download sucks sometimes, but most of them have it, and I'd rather have more options for downloading in case I want to pull a few simultaneously. Actually, a major problem with rapidshare is that sometimes it is overused. Nobody wants EVERY download link to be rapidshare, but I see nothing wrong with a few of them.

My experience with RapidShare has been totally awful. Horrible download rates, disconnecting/freezing downloads, and if I decide to cancel a download for another file, a lot of the time it locks me out.

Megarotic and Megaupload always work well enough for me (reasonable download rate, stable service, etc). Also, if you register a free account, you get less wait time, better dl rates, and a larger dl size limit.

Other than Rapidshare the only host that gives me problems is Gigasize where sometimes the dl freezes or stops early and says that it's completed when sometimes it's only like 20-30% but yeah Rapidshare is on of the worst.
