Re: Road Rage.
I'm glad nothing worse happened... I heard of people getting killed up here for pulling over for someone.
I hope you can catch this idiot.

Re: Road Rage.
The Sherriff's dept. is still looking into it. I called my bail bondsman pal who found out who he is and where he lives...so if the Sherriff's dept doesn't do something about it soon, that guy will permanently drive with a "pull me over" sticker on his truck hehe.
Road Rage is against the law now in my area, so he should be arrested for that as well as tail gaiting, speeding, impersonating, threatening, harassing, etc...I've got a lot of stuff on my list that I'm going for, and I plan to sue him over this so that it won't happen again.
As far as left lane goes, that law doesn't exist in this area, but I was passing the same woman he was trying to pass, just didnt' get a chance to get over yet b/c I let him over when I got past her.

Re: Road Rage.
I swear bad driving gets worse and worse by the day. I'm almost scared to drive now. A day doesn't pass when I don't see a dumbass doin 100+ down the highway, weaving in and out of people. I swear...

Re: Road Rage.
Someone got killed here today because of road rage. It's stupid, so the guy cut you off, get over it, is one car really going to make you late? Did his stupidity really affect you that much?

Re: Road Rage.
Yea, I shouldn't have pulled over without seeing blue lights and I was lucky. I'm hoping the Sherriff's dept will find out who he is soon so that they can get him off the road and he doesn't do that to any other girls. Luckily I wasn't mouthy to him, said "yes sir and no sir", and apologized for not going faster in the left lane...or else no telling how pissed he may have really been. The next girl he does this to may mouth off to him or do something to piss him off worse..so I hope he gets off the road soon.

Re: Road Rage.
Never pull over for an off-duty officer, or one in a completely unmarked car obviously not a government vehicle. Even unmarked police cars have lights. Any cop in a vehicle that is not a cruiser won't be able to pull you over, understandably. There was a situation where an off-duty cop tried to pull me over, and I wouldn't pull over. Finally, after I gave him the finger, he cut me off, so I had no choice. He got out cursing, so I got out cursing back at him. He took the license plate number, but I wouldn't give him my ID, and he threatened to have me arrested for not giving it to him. I called Internal Affairs.... and he was suspended for 3 days.

Re: Road Rage.
Yea, this guy said I flipped him the finger, which I didnt', and got out cursing me. He'd probably only get a suspension if he were an actual police officer...but he committed a federal offense. He was on my bumper trying to practically push me off the road, then when I sped up and let him get by me, he got up beside me, rolled down his window and was trying to get me to pull over and sorta swerving towards me. I saw the uniform and thought he may have an emergency so I pulled over.
I now know that you can't get into any trouble for making a cop follow you to a public place or police station to pull you over.

Re: Road Rage.
The left lane is the fast lane. Some people just want to find a reason to be pissed off.

Re: Road Rage.
The left lane law's differ from State to State. Some states it is a passing lane and some states it is not. Often times it also depends on weather it is a two lane or three lane road. No matter what this corrections office was in the wrong. He was obiviously road raged. He imperssonated a law enforcement office not to mention the other traffic violations he commited in his rage. The only thing for you to remember in the future is to 1) Never pull over for a car that is not displaying blue emergency lights. 2) If the official uniformed or plain clothes is not willing to show you his badge and proper identification then he is false and to get away as fast as possible.

Re: Road Rage.
Yea, I was passing the same woman he was, he was just pissed because I wouldn't do 80 in a 65mph speed trap. I've gotten a ticket there for doing 72 in a 65 before, and the judge didnt' throw it out. I was already doing 70, and not about to get a repeat ticket. He was an ass, and I hope they catch him.

Re: Road Rage.
Well all left lanes are consididered <<-- funky.. passing lanes. You can get a ticket for driving in the left lane for to long. It happened to me in texas.
Oh well. I was in a crazy road rage incident. I was on a canyon road which had no room for pulling over. Well the crazy lady behind me tried to pass me and hit an on coming car. They both died. So much rage.
