It is that time, we all must have a voice
Well, it seems that for the last 10 years or so, our Government has been totally out of touch with everyone that is a real working person.
The problem we are currently seeing, is something that has grown over several years. it is a combination of both parties trying to outdo the other, not listen or work together and use power to push things through.
There are a few ways we all can help change this.
1 - VOTE!!!
2 - Vote in a new congress person no matter what. They are all showing signs of corruption. And though only 1/3 of congress can change each election, we have to do something.
3 - Write to your congressmen/women - Tell them what you want and why. tell them you will not vote for them unless they stop taking money from special interest groups. And tell them to put the differences aside and work together! Write them often.
4 - VOTE!!!!
We are headed in a dangerous direction. Both Presidential candidates have some good ideas and some bad ideas, and neither shows or says how they will try to help fix things, except say the other is wrong.
And the President doesn't pass laws or budgets anyway, it is Congress.
Bush tried to get the reform on loan companies a few years ago, when the Republicans where in power, but they did not do it, and the Dems refused once they got in. So it is BOTH parties faults (I do blame the republicans more, since they had a good shot at it!).
But it is time we pushed the change. Our Government is out of control!!!!
(thanks for listening)
