So I don't know about anyone else, but I'm excited! Hell, most of you know me by my name CD... but only the regulars that have been here for a while know that it stands for ClemsonDevil. That is the name I started here with, and after a few years I shortened it to just CD. Anyway, that means I'm a Tiger fan and I'm really looking forward to the start of the season. Especially since they are predicted to do so well.

The beautiful thing is that Cullen Harper, James Davis and CJ Spiller are all Clemson. So out of the 64 votes, you have 54 going to Clemson players.

Mark Schlabach at ESPN.com (HERE) has Clemson ranked #6 in the preseason polls behind Georgia (no surprise), Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC, and Florida.

I love the recruiting that Clemson is getting now. For the class of 2007, Clemson didn't have a single pick in the top 100 of the ESPN Top150. They had:
#101, #145, and #147.

For the class of 2008 they picked up the following:
#1, #12, #34, #39, #40, #44, #65, #78, #83, and #149.
Not only that but they already have 10 Top150s for the class of 2009 to commit, of which 4 are All American.

I don't care for Ohio or USC, so only if they both lost would I be happy. However, for raining on my parade I hope that Ohio wins that game. I'll be sure to rub it in. Oh, and with the way Georgia has been recruiting the last few years, and being coached, I'd love for them to whup USC's ass in a bowl game. Reason being - Georgia is the one team I don't want Clemson to have to play. They look too good not to go for the National Title...

Georgia is right behind USC in college football, in my opinion, under the category of "Only Teams That Fucking Matter".

I like watching a few games a year, but do not really give a damn about any teams.

I root for NAVY (Naturally) and anyone play Notre Dame!!!

OSU vs USC should be a pretty exciting game though.
