Here are some of the 3 hour hike/mountain climbing I did (yes, on my fucked up ankle and everything, I fart in death's general direction)....I was surprised my fat ass didn't die :P

This is the base of the river we were going to go up through

This natural water slide is called La Piedra Lisa, or the slick rock


Right at the top of the Piedra Lisa is this (which you can't really see on the first pic)

Here is where we reached the base of the main waterfall El Salto, or the hop


The camera was a p&s so it didn't have an adequate enough lens to fit the whole thing in one shot, so here it is in pieces

During the regular season this is the trickle that pours down at a steady rate and the pool that forms that causes a lot of moss etc which stopped me from wanting to climb it without any equipment. During flash floods, it's down right roaring with water.


Looking back through what we trailed through:


At the base of El Salto lies this "monument". Back in 1992, a kid about 2 years older than I scaled el Salto through a trail the deer made on the side. While at the mesa, he was attacked by what was assumed to be africanized bees. He took a diver off the water fall and they found him a few days later. This is a little monument they made in his honor and one of them apparently flushed over.


This is looking down La Piedra Lisa. Dude in the pic is a cousin of mine that maintains land and other stuff I own down there.


For some reason, it looks less intimidating from the top


The vegetation around here is very dense. We were constantly on the lookout for people taking care of clandestine pot crops that are notorious in the area

These are of a quad ride I took to an old mining town dating back to the early 1800's called The Amparo after the Mining Company (I think I've posted some of those before). Reason we didn't hike this is because its at least 14K from the base of the road. :P and I didn't feel like doing that with the girlfriend

Rivers streams and creeks cross the road that leads up there and it makes it a little rugged to cross:






I nearly layed the quad down sideways through this one going through the deep side on the right. I backed out of there quick and went around through the top....the gf was riding on the bitch seat and wasn't too happy about it






This is the actual town (about a dozen homes scatered around)

this place overlooks everything...I'm actually trying to buy it but the owner lives state side and is in hiding because he's wanted for trafficing

This is called La Gerencia or the agency. This is where the owners of the mine worked out of. The floors were lined with marble and the doors were all oak with gold hardware


When they left, they left everything as was and through the years, looters and nature have destroyed the place.


Another house that guy I'm looking for owns. This works as a lookout tour for when the military was on their way up. The guy would then radio his workers to hide or arm themselves

These dudes and I used to live a block away from my old place here in the states. We used to smoke weed like crazy back when I was a teenager....now they are both wanted by the law so they live down there lol The dude on the left makes me feel better about having gained weight

My house is the one in front of my truck, that 82 ford f-250. It's the one closer to the bars in downtown...the ranch is a few kilometers east

We actually closed the bar down that time...the owner told me I finished a whole bottle and since he was charging me per drink, he made no money off of me....I found it hard to believe, but apparently the dumb broad was serving me out of the wrong bottle....I thought it tasted different

This is us later that night after I dropped the gf off...the dude on the right owns a ranch that makes mine look like my back yard now.

That chick in the background is a FWB of mine....fucking COUGAR! She had lipo done not to long ago and had her tittays fixed so they wouldn't sag

lol yep, that's exactly why. the floor was a little wet since at the time there was a monster storm and some of the windows on the side were open.


I eat at taco bell because the food is actually decent...not because I think its mexican.

Good pics! It's nice to see a variety of shots from different areas.

For the house you want to buy, maybe someone can let the owner know to contact you! That way, he can stay on the darkside and you will not have any way to know where he's at. Maybe work the sale through an agreed upon middleman??

Last time I was in Mexico city, my friend took me to Taco Bell. I was shocked because who would have thought they had one that far south. There was a Burger King in the same parking lot area. I made sure I had nothing with veggies.
