Sabbathia to the Brewers!
http://cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/story/10888845
I'm STOKED!
Although it sucked we are going to give up some pretty damn good prospects on a rental. But FUCK.. The brewers were already going to make the race close.. This could make it closer and perhaps put them in the driver's seat!

Re: Sabbathia to the Brewers!
As well you should be. Today he knocked one out of the park and pitched a complete game. He's a big plus for my Brew Crew.

Three complete games in a row. CC is a beast.

Re: Sabbathia to the Brewers!
Is it wrong that I'm just happy there are people posting in Sports that aren't talking about fucking basketball?
And he's a great addition. I would say Haren is for the Cubs, but I'd be wary of anything Billy Bean is willing to part with...

Re: Sabbathia to the Brewers!
Draggon, it's not wrong at all. College basketball is the only iteration of the sport worth watching, and then only in March. The evolving rivalry between the Brewers and the Cubs, is good stuff in and of itself, but the fact that both teams are really good this year is pure gold. I guarantee local fans aren't the only ones happy to hear about someone other than the Yanks and Red Sox. Plus this gives me something to divert myself from the ever worsening Favre-gate.
