Netflix and Roku
I just read an article about the movie streaming box from Roku that will work with Netflix accounts. It also mentions competitors like Sling. I'm intrigued by the stuff. Anyone have experience with it? You all know I watch a TON of movies.

Or at least invite a girl over so you can try to have sex after the movie!

Re: Netflix and Roku
Yeah, the Roku device works well... but I don't use it since right now Netflix doesn't have the greatest selection of streaming movies. It's a lot of old stuff, terrible skin flix, and tons of TV series. The quality is as good as on your computer, depending on your connection speed. The downside is it costs $100 to purchase the device, and if you have a computer (which most people do who have Netflix, since you order your DVD's online) you might as well just hook up your computer to a TV.

I don't download stuff, thats why I looked at this after seeing an article in the paper today. Price does seem to be lower than others like Apple.
Yeah, also read it's currently a lot of older stuff and tv, which isn't all bad. Catch up on that stuff while getting the newer stuff as your in mail dvd.
And i'm working on the having a girl over part

Roku seems like a decent idea. but like patito said, netflix doesn't have a ton of good streaming movies. the newer releases are usually the straight to DVD movies or tv series.
