Yes, everyone has seen many of the liberal, true to life Democratic threads (tongue in cheek) and other mantras by these two; however, I found a funny they would enjoy! Here it is:

The Secretary of Defense, Secretary of State, and President Bush are called upon by Congress to take lie detector tests. First up, the SecDef pronounces, "I think we can win the war in Iraq in the next six months." BUZZ!!, the lie detector sounded. "Okay, one year". BUZZ!! "Two years." BUZZ!! All right, I don't know how long this war may take!

After the SecState is hooked to the machine, she says, I believe the President has a firm handle on the situation in Iraq.' BUZZ!, the lie detector sounds. Okay, I think he understands how difficult- BUZZ!!! "Actually, I don't think he knows anything about what's going on over there."

Finally, it was President Bush's turn. "I think"- BUZZZZ!!!!!

Pretty funny, I'll give you some rep for it, but I guess I'm still trying to see why it describes me, and deez perfectly? We aren't the only ones who associate themselves with the more intelligent of the two parties, although we may be the most thread-happy. CD comes to mind, as does FattyJJ and there are a few others. But we are a small minority in this sea of conservative ideologies.

Yes, you and Deez are the most thread posting folks; I did forget about CD and FattyJJ (he and I have sent a few pm's back and forth). I'm blaming my leaving them out on cold, frothy, adult beverages.

Yes, ya'll are definitely in the minority, but I used you and Deez to get folks to check out the joke. With you and Deez in the subject line, most of us republicans probably clicked on the thread faster than we could load up an unattended drum of crude on a loading dock into our diesel pickup!

Yeah, I finally got the quote thing down. I don't have much in the way of computer skills; personally, I look at a computer as an ultra-modern typewriter. Ninety-nine percent of what I do with a computer is word processing.

The comp works, but just doesn't have the feel of a good, old manual typewriter. Yes, I said manual; I didn't even like the electric typewriters.

If you thought my learning to quote was difficult, you should search this site for my quest in learning how to post and resize pictures!
