OMFG! How do I...
quote another persons post info in my post?? I see how it has the darker gray color and is attributed to the author. I just don't know HOW to get this to work.
As many of you have noticed, I bold the screen name of the posting person I'm responding to. How the hell can I get the quote thingie to work??
Keep it simple, folks. My comp skills are rather basic!

Just copy and paste going back to the thread for each quote until you have all the quotes in one edit box. Then insert your replies as desired. See the code I accumilated making this post.

Re: OMFG! How do I...
Thanks guys! I'm gonna give this a try and give the vbulletin program a break from the bolding I've been doing over the last few months. When I click on "quote", it takes me to a section; how do I copy this section and get to another?? For example, if I quote several folks, I'm gonna get to several "reply" sections. How do I quote, copy, paste, and move between them? Do I post this, go to the "edit" section and continue?
Am I missing out on other tricks??

What you do is copy the first quote which will hold it on the clipboard. Click back to return to the thread then click on quote for the next post. Paste the first quote in below the second and copy the whole thing again to the clipboard and repeat until you have all the quotes you want in the edit box.
For my last post it was quote, copy, back, quote, paste, copy, back, quote, paste, copy, back, quote, paste, enter text, submit!
PS. you probably haven't tried the invisible post yet.

Re: OMFG! How do I...
or, after you quote the first person, if you scroll down it will have the rest of the thread beneath the text box.
-Then you can copy what you want from other people directly from there
-and then just type: {quote=posters name} paste text {/quote} (using [ ] instead of { } of course) into the box.
-Repeat for however many people you want to quote
or instead of typing up {quote} bla bla bla, you can click on the quote box, all the way to the right of th B I U etc. options and paste the text and it'll do it for you. Then all you have to do is enter =poster in the beginning of the first {quote}. I tend not to use this function though because sometimes it cuts out most of what you want to quote.
