Both team played the series like crap. The Lakers just played worse. Today was the Lakers looking at Torrey Pines and thinking that looks like fun. A series that did not live up to the hype. Every game only half of each team team showed up. Except today no Lakers and 3 Celtics showed up.

I won't be a hypocrite and say I actually care about basketball and would have band wagoned if they won....but I am an LA team fan and we have very little. It hurt to see them playing so miserably. It's like they didn't give a shit. In the end, the least sucky team won.

Boston just wanted it more. LA was an overwhelming pre series favorite, they were coasting, and Celtics were struggling. Glad I don't gamble! Anyway, we beat the defending champs and weren't supposed to have even made it this far when opening day came, so the season is a success. Lakers will be back, and will be the team to beat in the west for a few more years. Don't know about Phil Jackson's status. Seems the Bulls and Knicks hired new coaches too quickly...Odom will probably get traded. I would dump Radmanovich and Luke Walton as well.

Lol for sports today... me and some friend got together to watch the Peru vs Uruguay match for the world cup qualifiers where Peru lost 6-0 and then the lakers just didnt show up.

I dont know much about basket but i think Odom is not player for championship team, he can do some crazy and amazing stuff but he does very rarely and in most games he doesnt do much. I think for what i saw in the games that LA lost that they need someone else to take shots and put some points when kobe isnt doing it, Gasol didnt do it in the series with Boston and Lamar Odom sure as hell wasnt going to do it so unless kobe scored fuckin 83 points again they where not going to win

Hehe. Glad LA got creamed. Kobe looks like such an annoying, pompous ass. I always root for the team they are playing against and I'm so glad Boston won!
