I try to keep a positive outlook and keep my faith in humanity, but shit like this just knocks it down another notch. One guy said something about how he felt uncomforatable because there was blood. WTF, if it was him that got hit by the car I'm sure he would appreciate some help, blood or not. I hope they use the video to charge every onlooker who just stood there with failure to be a good citizen, or something like that. I would line them all up, hit them with a car and just leave them there.

They showed the Vid on the news while I was at work. I too felt the same way. HOW the hell do these people live with themselves?

I do not care who it is, I would try to help.

I hope the media keeps it up and names the loser's that just gawked, or the clown that backed up. And the JA that was on the scooter!

Some sociologist once preformed an experiment where a bloody woman (acting) laid in a gutter on a busy street, to see how people would react.
Not surprisingly, many of the passersby whipped out their cell phones and took pictures before walking away.

I read an updated story that within a few minutes four 911 calls were placed. That's still fucked up though. All those people and only 4 thought to call anyone, not to mention the fact that no one attempted to help. Someone could have at least directed cars around him so he wouldn't be hit again.

I totally agreee with that statement. It's like our society has gone to hell and no one cares about any one any more, It's become a "me" society, not what can I do to assist you in this world. Never thought that I would live to see the day that people in need of help would be treated this way.
