So now I get to experience the mysterious effects of Tylenol 3. I can't wait.

I'm trying to figure out what I can eat. Lousy time to schedule this appointment, as it's right about lunch time. I remember FP saying that he had this brilliant idea to have soft tacos as they're, you know, soft. Any suggestions?

granted i had tacos the next day but that was because i REALLY wanted them. probably not the best idea though. solid crap gets stuck in the whole left by the tooth. not fun

i swear , they went after me with what looked like a cold chisel and a ball-peen hammer . "you'll feel a little pressure ..." .

the blender became my friend for a few days ... it felt like someone had busted a bottle on each side of my jaw .

T-3 ? better as a data line than a pain killer for me . i am allergic to codeine ... makes me sicker than a dog and my heart goes into overspin .

My story-

The Navy Dentists left a piece of bone in my gum when they sewed it up. I had to have both bottoms cut in half and grinded out because they were so deep, awake the whole time too, ughhh. I went through 3 weeks of constant headaches, little sleep, and guilt trips from my senior Marines because I had to keep going back to dental and get the "hole" packed with pain reducers. Dental thought it was a dry root, and never did any real investigating. The Comm Chief (senior enlisted) almost wrote me up for melingering for it because I kept going home sick due to the headaches. I finally told the dentist to do an x-ray, they then found the problem, of course no one ever appologized.

I did get plenty of Vicodin and Perks for it though.

Anyways, hope you have a better experience, I'm sure you will, your not using a military dentist. Make sure you keep it clean, that is the main cause of peoples issues. If they dont give you one, get a serenge with a plastic tip, and use it to clean the hole out. Warm salty water is your friend to help keep it clean as well.

when mine came in, it hurt a bit, but never where I couldn't chew. I didn't have to have any of them out. I feel for you though, I do know people who had to have them removed.
