I got my Wii today....at last !!!!

I am in Houston and today was my first day here and all I was thinking was how to get this out of my mind. They delivered a newspaper that I swear must be around 5 kg this morning and I saw a big CircuitCity ad having Wii on top, yet to be on safer side I call their 800-xx number and they say that they are out of stock. (WTF, why give ad then??), so is Toys'r'us...so is Best Buy ....and I am like getting really desperate.

So I go down and talk to my hotel's "Guest Service" desk. The guy there is a young guy and he so understands my Wii Mania, and makes some calls and as it turns out Target has got a fresh lot of 16 this morning !!!! The only trouble is that Target is not quite walkable from Hyatt and the local transport being what it is here, the only way is Taxi which will be like 30 bucks to and fro. I naturally cringe a bit, which the good guy senses and takes me to the side and offers me to use the hotel van for a little "tip" to the driver. So off I go, in a gigantic van, driven by a even more gigantic driver to Target, where I find my Wii, along with an extra Remote, extra Nanchuk, Extra Drive Wheel...and of course the latest Mario Kart, Mario Super Smash Brawl and Mario Super Galaxy.....got a cute iPod Shuffle for wifey while at it....out of store in 30 mins, drive back....gave the driver $10 for his trouble.

Now I can go back to my real work...phew !!!!

I just keep liking the wii more and more....

I've had the console for about a year now and I find myself playing it basically the same as when I just got it. THere is such a great mix of games to keep me entertained for agggeeesss
