i seen this while perusing the web ...


It seems that these days most Americans think it is improper to spank a child. Recently the California state legislators introduced legislative proposed action against spanking. Over the years a friend of mine has tried other methods to control their kids when they had one of "those moments".

One method he found effective is to take the child for a car ride and talk. They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after their car ride together.
I included a photo below of one of his sessions with his son, in case anyone would like to use the technique.

Rent a pickup truck and let him ride in the back. Don't go on the highway take the inner city streets where there are a lot of traffic lights. An hour or so of fast starts and last second stops will do the trick!

My sister-in-law works for CPS (child protective services), and she used to tell us
about the kids she used to find that had been spanked, beat, etc., and would say you should use "time out"
to get them to behave instead of spanking, and vowed she would never do that to HER children.

Then she had her own kids

She would hear stories of what a parent did to their child, and would ask..



"Did that Work?"
