What are everyone's thoughts on made for TV movies? Are any of them good? Or are they just terrible because they couldn't make it on the big screen? Whats the differences? How are they the same?

In my experience...made for TV movies are pretty darn bad. I've seen a few good ones in the past. What I really love is when big stars do made for tv movies. Like Alyssa Milano in the Lifetime movie, Wisegal. I might actually watch that tomorrow night.

It is all about the market and the money up front.

Usually, Made for TV is not as good.
Language is clean, no nudity, very little blood and death, poor car action scenes.

But then, you also have some great One Hour Series!

Made for tv movies and lifetime movies are different just like sci fi channel movies are different. SciFi has a high corny factr because of low budget special effects lifetime movies dont usually focus on effects. and made for tv movies are usually cheese in content and execution. Wisegal sounds like a mob movie. will it be any good?
