I made a few threads where I shared some content of mines. All seemed to like it so I made more, both threads were locked. I've sent an email to the admin, only to have it ignored.

The copyright rules states nothing from certain sites can be posted. Well I own the sites that I posted here, I'm certainly free to post them where ever. Does WR prefer to have stolen content posted here, rather then program owners sharing?

Please advise!

Well, here's the deal. The last two threads you posted used an uploader that appeared to be a pay-per-click type host. Those are forbidden in the rules. I researched it as well as I could and that's what it seems to be. So, I censored that site so the images won't show up. I could have banned you for that but didn't. We have no problem if you post images from those sites, but you should use a different uploader. www.imagevenue.com is acceptable. There are others. Thoughts?

I'll take a moment to respond to each post in kind:





They weren't and aren't pay per click hosts. I own the content and they come from http://www.%%%%%%%%%.com which is my cash site. I don't run anything like that in my business, so not sure how it could be perceived as that?



I'm not sure why you would censor it? My biggest complain about %%%%%%%%%%, imageview and all the other free hosts is all the pay per click and spam links that are on there. How many of your users know that every time they click on one of those links, they get cookies downloaded which in turns add to their popups? The images I post are all free of cookies, spam and other things. In fact, if you do a quick post search on my name, you'll see that the dozens of other posts I've made (dating several years back) are of the same type.



It would have been a false ban if you had, chances are, you'd have had to unban me. I'm an actual content PROVIDER posting LEGAL stuff here, why make me pay? Why threaten to ban me for sharing, when if some of the other webmasters who's work is posted here found out, WR would get dozens of DMCA notices in a heart beat.



To be honest, I would have a problem if images from my sites are posted and I'm not the one posting them. All my images are federally copyrighted with the US copyright office. I have sued several people...and won! for using my images with out written permission. So I'm dumbfounded that I'm being persecuted with out being explained before hand? I am not a rule breaker. I'm not a hard ass, your people want to see the images, I want to share the images, we should be able to find a common ground. I don't want to use %%%%%%%%%% because they resize and degrade the image and as a webby, I lose control of it's distribution.

By taking a look at my site and thinking it was a pay to play type thing, I'm assuming when you went to the home page, you saw you had to enter your account number. I get it now. When you go to my site root, that site is for webmasters to get referral sales to my site. When you clicked on the images, no one had to enter anything, it's not a pay per click. That's the only site I have that allows hotlinking, so thats why I use it.

Please unban it.

There are a number of pay-per-click freehosts. Cash happens to be in the title of your host as most of the others. That's how it could be perceived as a pay-per-click host. Also, I made an account there and played around a bit. It seemed I could get links to your material and get paid down the line for the times they were viewed. If it's your site, it makes sense you that you aren't profiting from it by times the pics are viewed.


Why would I censor it? See above, I perceived it as a pay-per-click host. Yeah, cookies and popups are part of internet porn. That's why members use popup blockers and clear their cookies. The price we pay for free hosts. Webrats had their own uploader for a few years with no popups or cookies. It was abused and is gone.


Well, the fact is I didn't ban you. I am not a Nazi mod. I invited you to post on hosts that were acceptable to us. Your material is well-received here. I am after the person that signs up to make a buck, not a long-time contributing member. I am also after the LEECHERS who don't do a thing here but suck up bandwidth. The rest of what you say could be interpreted by some as an implied threat. We have a procedure to deal with content owners and we do get content banned here once in awhile. No need to invite them here, let them find us and all the others like us on their own.


I wouldn't blame you for being pissed if someone posted your stuff here. We have other members with their own sites that would feel the same, Melissa Midwest for one. After reading what you wrote, I am willing to unban your freehost and bump your two threads back up in the queue. What I am interested in here is generating posts, and your threads will do that. I can also edit the rules sticky to include your sites on the "do not post" list. Please list them for me.

The admin is You said you already emailed him, but I can asssure you, he will defer to me on this. Also, he is extremely busy. However, you will see I am willing to do as you ask, so he isn't needed unless you want to make him aware anyway. Just link this thread. Most importantly, we have settled this pretty easily. I understand your points, and I am sure when you read this, you will understand mine. So, I will uncensor your sites, please get me the list of your sites, thanks.

Also, the last most important thing is, you can't directly promote your site for memberships. Naturally, people will see your material and be able to find it on their own from the watermarks. If they wish to join you, great. You just can't directly go after them. We had a model here, Sabrina Colt a couple of years back. She posted content from her site, everyone knew about it, but she never linked it. She also interacted with the members and all was cool. Search her thread out, it is a pretty interesting read.

Correct, it does have the word cash in it since its a "cash program" basically a way for others to make money...along with me. You are correct, that if you sign up and put a link up to my program, if someone clicks on that link, you'll get half the sale, I get the other half. I wish I could get profit every time the pics are viewed! I'd be a multi millionaire inside of a week lol.



I used to own two of the largest candid message boards on the net, I know what its like when people abuse shit. If they don't have to pay, there's no value to it. That's typical life.



Glad you didn't take what I said as a threat. I don't make or issue threats as it gives the opposing party a chance to clean up their act. I'm a act now, brag later kind of guy. I've been posting here for years, last thing I want to do is wear out my welcome. My post was to simply say I could be one of the many webmasters that come here to look for their content, then make you spend hours of your time getting rid of anything that is remotely mines. I disagree with that since it's counter productive to everyone. That being said, outside of my sharing and a comment here and there, I could be seen as a leecher simply because I can't comment on some of the content that's here and not supposed to be. As a webmaster, if I'm caught prasing a set from a fellow webmasters program, I could lose a significant amount of money by having people drop me as a sponsor. I will and do comment on threads thats not of specific webmaster programs, but again, will share my stuff when I can, as freely as some of the long standing well respected guys.



I'm glad that we can see eye to eye and come to terms! I feel the basic human function of talking has been negated via the eletronic medium, where everyone is an "internet chair warrior", so I'm glad to see we're able to get over our differences and see the big picture for both our business! Alright that's cool. My sig has been removed and I can respect that. I won't link them again. I love photography and talking all things photography. I've been published in Maxim, Playboy, FHM, Blender, Penthouse and a few others. If people want to talk photography, how to get models, photography on a budget or just the girls I post, I'm down! I love to share, sometimes, I'm accused of sharing too much lol.
