I haven't played WoW in months. I lost interest in it. Maybe someday I'll shell out the 15 bucks again but for now I'll just spend it on beer.

I watched the preview video and almost fell asleep. Its pretty sad when it boasts "changeable hairstyles" as a new game feature.
I too used to play Warcraft. I wasted 2 years of my life on this game. After you get to 60 or 70 its too hard to find groups to get what you need, the people are all @$$holes and its near impossible to have a good experience unless you group up.

I used to play WoW, and though it was alot of fun for a while, I decided to quit cause I needed to concentrate on my college work. I still keep up with whats going on on the community site, even though I'm not playing. I mostly do it because of the fan art and comics that show up on the site, and the screen shots. The new expansion pack looks cool, but I wouldnt re-open my account to play it.

I've never played, but I've lived in two apartments where I was surrounded by WoW addicted room mates, and learned a great deal about the game just from observing.

One of my current room mates skipped an exam because he pulled an all night raid of Molten Core. Or maybe it was Black Wing's Lair, whatever. My other current room mate of lesser hard coreness never skipped a test, but sometimes wouldn't go out or go to the gym in favor of leveling his Paladin.

The one who skipped an exam just gave up on WoW. He said it got boring, and that Blizzard forces players to grind in order to artificially increase replay value. I believe he was referring to how trash mobs respawn in instances, and you'd have to refight your way through them if you died. Or something like that. He also mentioned that Arena was getting boring.

Ironically he plays Fury now.
