The Greatest Game Ever
There might be a "Post your favorite RPG" or "Adventure" game out there, i think i saw a favorite "First-Person Shooter" thread, but this one is for your favorite game of all time, and give a description why that game is so special to you.
FINAL FANTASY 10
Just thinking about it brings back so much memories, i remember all the key moments in the game, the only game that has ever made me feel a wide range of emotions, never thought i would say that, sometimes i dont think of it as a game, but a interactive movie, which is pretty much what Final Fantasy games are, i was attached to the story right from the beggining, till the very sad end, and damn was i sad it ended, i wanted it to continue, and FF X-2 did no justice, but yeah the musical score was awesome as well, i would hear myself humming it without realizing it , just simply the best, battle system, if i were to go back to it would feel dated after playing FF 12 , but still easy enough to learn, and of course, the story itself was just amazin, unique, i feel like playing it again just talking about it. too bad i have no PS2 , which means now i have to get a PS3

No question about it --- Zelda 64: Ocarina of Time
So cool, even Chuck Norris gives it thumbs up.

Neverwinter Nights 2
Endless replayability, almost total control over the customization of your character. Toolset for creating your own mods and a solid gaming community willing to contribute to the expansion of the game. The storyline for the main game isn't half bad either!

Re: The Greatest Game Ever
I would have to say the first game that comes to mind.
Goldeneye for the 64. Best multi-player game.
If not that, then KOTOR. The first one took hours to beat, and you could play it again and again with nothing ever being the same.

I'm gonna go with Pitfall. I remember the first time I played it when it came out and I was amazed at all the different screens in the game.

Mario Kart 64!
BEST MULTI-PLAYER racer.
Playing four player mode is chaotic fun , whether 15yrs old or 50yrs it's a game everyone can enjoy. I still remember playing verus my friends for hours and hours. These sort of raw fun games are just not made like they used to, the weird controller design just improves the games, i find it's just not the same when playing emulaotors.

Re: The Greatest Game Ever
Dungeon Keeper Gold - very old, but still very playable and enjoyable, a classic
As for (c)RPG's Baldur's Gate 2 was/is my favourite especially fot the great and very absorbing storyline, which lacks in new games

Chrono Trigger. Classic SNES Square RPG. Great music, great characters, great story, great gimmick. Just amazing.
