It is too hard to judge all-time. The tank game for Atari was a great multi-player game in its time. I spent tons of time running Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl. If i had to just name one it would be Pirates on Genesis. Count Crabs was one of the greatest pirates to ever sail the seas. He randomly sank ships, only split the gold when his crew hit less than 10 men, and went on tirades when he had to sail to villa hermosa for clues to his missing family.

If I were to pick a game that I have a deep attachment to, it would have to be Shenmue for Dreamcast. I remember being so moved by the sound track in that game; it really does feel epic. I'd play it over, but my Dreamcast is damn near fried and only plays certain games.

I wish that 1) The Dreamcast didn't die so prematurely and 2) Sega finished the Shenmue franchise.

I played Red Alert 2 until my friggin' fingers bled back in the day. FF7 and Morrowind each stole 100+ hours of my life as well.

Multiplayer? Call of Duty 4. It's so epic. Plus, it's great to have Infinity Ward back on the project after the third one.


All-time? I'm gonna have to go with another new(er) on: Forza Motorsport 2. The gameplay is excellent. Plus, it retains difficulty, even with all of the assists turned on. The excellent physics helps, too.
