Opening .avi videos with windows media
I am having trouble opening downloaded video with windows media that end in .avi. They open fine, but they play a song only. There is no video. How can change these over to video or what do I need to do to make them video files so i can open them and see the video?

Re: Opening .avi videos with windows media
I'm not a DivX fan (I don't know why - there was some reason, but I can't remember)
xVid is my codec of choice for .avi
But all the suggestions above should work anyway
