Question About A 4.0 GB MP3 Player
So I got this San Disk Sansa 4.0 GB MP3 player for free. Well, it says with the 4.0 GB you can have about 1000 songs on it.
I'm at 332 and am tapped out. Does that sound right or has anyone else have this problem?

Re: Question About A 4.0 GB MP3 Player
Well, in most the storage is 4g, but remember some of that goes to w/e program is being run on it. Prob 1/4 or 1/2 a gig. (i think I lose 1.8 gigs on my ipod)
But also check the bit rate for your songs. If you rip them at high bitrates then your files will be bigger resulting in less music.
Also think about the length of the songs. If you have 300 10 minute songs its the same as 600 5 minute songs.
Hope this helps
