Never heard of this film before the Academy awards.. but after its winning of 3 awards, and seeing the trailer on another DVD.. I had to check out this movie.. Just the trailer alone makes me want to go see it. Check it out.. and If you have seen it let us know.

Its good...........sub-titled............but quite good. Guillermo del Toro's work here is impressive, very good special effects and fairly violent. He thought up the whole storyline himself. Should have done better at the awards. Well worth a watch. Think it was banned in a few countries because of some of the violent scenes.

I saw this movie back in December, I actually went to Chicago to see it in limited release because it looked so good. I'm glad I saw it, I caught it again once it finally hit the theaters here in Michigan.
