ya...I can't afford to give up anything offensively to gain at pitching...
I'm just hoping that The Doc can come back and dominate...and everyone else picks it up.

Just in case anyone isn't watching the league postings, this is going on right now, and I'd like to make sure everyone is aware:

"I can't stand this format. Way too many obscure categories to get points in. I mean...GIDP, PO's??!!

I don't even know how to find those kind of stats on Yahoo. Plus, even if I can find a pitcher that is the master of getting ground out double plays, I'm not dropping a team ace for him.

I dunno....I guess I just don't have the time or patience to find these little weird stats on guys.

I am having fun this year with this league...but every night I think I had a monster night, I wake up and lost 7 points. Pisses me off.


Anyway, again I have a lot of starting pitching so if anyone is interested I'm looking for steals, BA, and HR's. Doesn't have to be all three of course. Someone like Ich would be just fine.

"Sorry about that man. I tried to include as many stats as I understood, and maybe a few I was iffy on. Not that it did me any good, since I'm sitting in last. Aside from removing some of the more obscure stats, what other suggestions would you make? There are also options like head to head scoring, smaller or larger rosters, etc. I don't mind running the league, despite my poor performance, and I'd be happy to do it again. BUT If that's gonna happen, I want to make sure it's something that everyone enjoys.

If everyone wants to see changes, I can see what can be made different immediately, but I do want to hear from the majority of the teams before anything like that will happen."

Don't get me wrong bro...I still am having a blast playing in this league. And when I said that I couldn't find the stats for things like GIDP and PO's I was just meaning I didn't really know the standard.

Like with HR's, RBI, hits, K's and all those other stats...I know what is expected by this point. I have no idea the what a good mark is for the obscure categories. So I have nothing to really base free agents on when it comes to those stats.

Like I said before, it just gets frustrating (as you probably know as well) when you see your line for the night and think you are killing, only to see you dropped a few points.

I don't have the stat tracker so I guess thats why I get kinda shocked in the morning when I check the standings.

It's all good and I hope you didn't take my post personal cause I wasn't intending for that at all. Just letting out some frustration on behalf of my crappy team.
