So i order "the Departed" online and then i go to pick it up today after they send me an email confirmation that it was ready to be picked up. The lady at the service counter takes my info and then goes to go look for it.. it takes her about 10 minutes, then she comes back empty handed and says it wasn't in the usual place.. and she was going to look in the "other" places it might be.. anyhow another 10 minutes she comes back empty handed again, and explains that someone must have misplaced it or never brought the item up to online holds. She also says they no longer have any of that paticular item, the limited special edition steelbook with 4 postcards.. I ask her to then check other stores so i can get it shipped to me, she did call around but after another 10 minutes or so no place has the item im looking for.


So not only do i walk out of the store empty handed, i wasted 35 minutes waiting for an item that should have been a simple walk in and out, secondly I dont get the item I want and now if it does become available at that store or any other one I now have to pay full price Instead of the sale price.. And I also cant get the sale price at any of the other stores either..


So I say.. FUCK BESTBUY! FUCK THEM IN THEIR FUCKING ASSES!!

Gave me a bunch of shit one time over a $20 item. Clerk tried to tell me it was my signature on the sales reciept. Even showed the clerk my Photo driver's license and still presisted with the accusation. How stupid can you be. You don't steal a credit card and only charge $20 bucks on it.

I go back and request a rain check so you get the sale price. If I had too I demand to see the store manager!!! Raise Hell, if you have to!

I was thinking about making a Best Buy sucks thread lately. I bought a computer desk there and one of the pieces was broken, so I took it back and they said...welll you'll have to call the manufacturer and have them ship you the part. Then I said, "Screw that, I don't want this anymore, I want to return it." NO DEAL!! Since I opened it, I couldn't return it.

Fuckin' bishes. So I called the manufacturer and they said, sure thing, we'll have the part to you in a couple of days.... that was a week and half ago. I called them again today and they said, well the part was shipped, it should have been there by now, if it isn't there by the end of the week, give us a call....

SO FUCK THAT PLACE. I'M SICK OF SITTING ON MY FLOOR USING MY DESKTOP PC!!!!

I love Best Buy cuz I don't pay for shit there. If I had to pay for stuff I would go somewhere else though.

This is my general complaint about all the big ass megacorps. They don't care about customers because they can just absorb the loss and make up for shitty customer service and lost custumers by not paying anyone more than 7 dollars / hour. Your local movie/electronic/furniture/whatever store can't afford to do that.

What REALLY kills me is when people get jerked around, and go right back to the fuckin place! This is america and people can't figure out how capitalism works.

WHen you place an online order, you go to the store to pick it up. Once you tell the customer service counter you're there to pick up said item, if you don't get it within 24 minutes, you get a $24 gift card. If you don't get it within 5 minutes, chances are the inventory was wrong and nobody called you to tell you it wasn't instock, so you'll still get the gift card. When it comes to that issue, they're real big on "The customer is always right".



I deal with the online orders everyday, so I know how they can go fucked up in many ways.

I think so. I know they have one close to Portland. Also saw one in Vegas when we were down there. Have some in Cali as well.
