dvd/rw problems...

when i put some dvd-s my dvd reader won't read it...(i put ENTER dvd)

my dvd reader can read other dvd-s but it won't read this one...neither newest version of ENTER dvd-s

i'm sure that i have dvd reader....disc isn't damaged....

my dvd reader is: TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B

Device type: DVD/CD-ROM drives
Manufacturer: (Standard CD-ROM drives)


can someone help...pls

Okay ill tell you exactly what they would tell you if you called in, right click my computer click properties go to the hardware tab, find the dvd drive highlight it and click uninstall on the top, reboot your computer and let your computer redetect it and see if it works.

Try double checking your dvd, there is probably something on the disc that is dirty.

there is also some discs that certain readers wont read. there is a list made by each manufactor for each type and brand name of the dvd/cds that they will read w/o any problems.

should chk their site to see if hte dvd that you have is the wrong brand.

Some older Readers wont read Faster speed Dvds try 4x as to 16x and see if it makes a differance
