i wouldnt agree that Jimmy is sloppy, basically every guitarist is sloppy in their own way. but i say this because i advocate him as the greatest guitarist that ever lived.

My favorite song- Ten Years Gone

Their best song in terms of popularity and influence- Stairway to Heaven (go ahead with the insults) but if you think about it, this is what separated them from any other band in history, its been called THE rock anthem.

Hendrix didnt even know how to tune his guitar! he used to have Clapton come on to the stage from the audience to tune it for him. Plus he only made a few good songs dude, and he didnt live long enough to prove himself. Name one bad Led Zep song.

Aw yes, LIVIN LOVIN MAID and THE ROVER are my favorite Zep tunes. I bought that live DVD they released some time ago and I don't regret it.

I would agree the Clapton is one of the best, and one of the best song writers of all time too.

I think that Hendrix was something special, but too short a time to say one of the best

I would pick SRV way over Knopfler, even though Stevie died way too early
