The Chicago Bears seem to be doing just that, as they easily embarrassed th Seattle Seahawks last night.Being 4-0 is a good feeling knowing that now we are the only undefeated team in the NFC.
They are well on their way to re-claim what they so deserve, THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS.....

I'd say they have a good shot the way they are playing. But they havn't played a good AFC team yet.

They won me my bet last night, and they're gonna win the division with no problem. I'd love to see them play the Colts, but we might have to wait for the SB for that. In the mean time I don't see them being really tested until they play the Pats at the end of November.

But being Alexander-less made the seahawks 1 dimentional.. However. they did look impressive vs the pass.

my question is. how did the bears get the easiest schedule in the NFL?

If Rex can make it a whole season...then maybe. But even then, I still doubt it.

If Seattle rights itself after that showing they're the only team in the NFC that can compete for the crown.
But they have to get over that lack luster effort...and get Alexander back to form.

I'm a little worried about the 'hawks, honestly. They've only played well in one game this year, against the Giants and even in that game they let them score 30 points in the last quarter and a half.

Hasselbeck is inconsistent at best, he seems to be rattled without Alexander to save his ass if he fucks up.

Chicago will make the playoffs- but i dont see them getting past the first round- just because the offense- I do see the Bengals making another late season run- but coming up just shy of a wildcard- I would say my team is going to the Super Bowl but we all know the Raiderettes just got blown up by the 49ers.

It certainly is possible the Bears can make it to the Super Bowl. I can't believe they ended up winning against Arizona on MNF after being down 20 points earlier in the game. Being 6-0 is one helluva good record.

Re: Will History Repeat Itself 20 yrs. Later.....?

I think that it's still premature to be talking about this Bears team reaching the Super Bowl. Their offense still is a cause for concern for them. As good as their D is, if the offense doesn't produce and give them an opportunity to rest, they'll fade when they play against good comp.
