accesing my pc from another

is there any way i can set my pc up to be accessed by myself from another computer over the net???
for example, I was at a mates house and wanted to show him some pictures that were on my pc.
How would i go about this???

any help much much appreciated.

if its XP remote desktop...but make sure you have a decent router that can open and close ports...also to get a static IP check out dynamicdns.com

Assuming you have a static IP and a fast internet connection, you should be able to use Remote Desktop connection. (Built in with Windows XP Pro versions.) Select Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications, Remote Desktop.

Otherwise, you can use any of the ones previously listed.
