Its got eye candy that gets old. Very old very quickly. Thus its a good buy for about the first 1/2 of the game - but after that it becomes very boring and repeditive.

Too damn dark aswell, end up walking into walls half the time. Yeah, i know its to make it more atmospheric, but whats the point if your stumbling around the place.

For 10 bucks though, yeah go for it.

I don't know what everyone's gripe is with that game. I sure as hell enjoyed it. Sure it was dark. Just made it more difficult.

I say the game was fun, and for 10 bucks, you can't miss.

yeah game is good but way too dark, i freaked myself out one nite when i played after a long night of drinkin.....look up the ducktape mod, helps alot

Just don't save in a middle of a level and stop playing for two weeks afterthat. You won't have a f**king clue where you are. This happened to me about three times and then I remembered. The darkness of the game makes this only more difficult to tell which way you can go.
Also the dead bodies of the aliens you've killed go away after a short period of time. This bugged me so I went into my data files and made it to where they would stay a lot longer. This somehow screwed up the game a little bit such as I couldn't get a certain kind of weapon on a level where you were suppose to get it. I've modded stuff for years and am well expirenced but I made a mistake just like a normal everyday human being has.
Anyway back to why I changed this: so the dead aliens can signal to me what way I've already been; however this is only 50% useful because sometimes you got to get a keycard from location B and travel back to location A to activate it. However, this really didn't frustrate me as much as saving and leaving my current game (when in a middle of the level) and then several days later loading that game and coming back in an empty hallway not sure where to go.
The difficulty is easy-- SPOILER: except for the final boss because if he touches you once then you are dead [however there is other enemys trying to kill you at the same time]

END SPOILER-- so far I completed theNIGHTMARE difficulty level [the highest one in the game] and I find it too easy then the other highest difficulty levels in other FPS games. I'm currently fixing this by changing some data files.
This is my nutshell mini-review on the game. I would definitly buy it for $10!

A WARNING........................... BE PREPARED FOR LONG LEVELS AND HOURS AND HOURS OF BOTH ENJOYABLE AND FRUSTRATIONS MEMORIES
