My boyfriend has been kinda pushy with trying anal sex lately, so I finally let him do it, and I HATED IT. I was uncomfortable with the idea in the first place, but I figured I give it a try and it totally did not work for me. He's the type of person who likes to try new things. I personally like whatever we do now and don't feel the need to try new things, but it's not like I wouldn't be up for it either. I'm just not that creative. pick up a book. go to the book store, Barnes and Nobel etc. The internet is too full of porn for you to get decent help, although I know of a website with animated gifs that lists every position known to man. it pops up on hotlinks on ebaums and collegehumor every once in a while. the books I'm talking about are on the self help section.

Also, just cuz you're up for suggestions doesn't mean you HAVE to do what your bf tells you. If you don't want anal, then don't do it. If he is PUSHING for it, deny him sex altogether and see how quick he stops that shit.

Well, not knowing what you are happy with doing now its difficult to suggest new positions. Try different pieces of furniture.. my gf and I found that using a chair opens up a lot of positions that we both enjoy. Or as Juan suggested go get a position book, and maybe look through it with him. Even if you don't do any of the exact positions in the book it will give you ideas about how you can expand your sexual horizons. If you know what stimulates you really well, chances are you can find something there that will hit the right spot even better.

And btw, if you really hated anal, even if he pushes you for it again (playing the old "you did it once!" card or something) just deny it. Its not something you enjoy and if he's to shallow to get over the fact that he cant put it in the butt you might want to look elsewhere anyways

Sex doesn't necessarily have to turn into bedroom olympics...if you like what you're doing and happy to experiment that's great......but it's a shame to get hung up on the "position" stuff when it's the "being together" stuff that really counts. I love it that you are wanting to spring some new moves on him, but is that to try and distract him from persuing anal? Most of the stuff that works for me I've discovered by trial and error......and it's okay to make those too! The fun bit can be the discovery rather than reading it in a manual.

No, I don't want new moves to persuade him from anal.....he knows I didn't like it so I don't think he'll ask again. I just want ideas for the sake of having ideas and making things fun. We absolutely do love being together and we really don't think about positions too often, but like I said, I think he'd like the surprise. Any specific links or books that anyone recommends?
