World Series 2006 - Tigers vs Cards
 

Is anyone else disappointed that the Mets lost? I mean the Cards are just over rated and I just don't like them. Living in the Detroit area makes me an automatic Detroit Tiger nut...so how do you guys all feel about this years World Series matchup? Any bets on who wins?

The Senior Circuit is better ball in my opinion, but unless it's the Yankees I always cheer for the Junior team.

the Tigers are gonna sweep it...simple as that...St Louis struggled against the Mets, and Detroit is playing some real good baseball this year.

God, I really hate to agree with Mr. Peeler, but it sure looks to me like the Tigers are gonna break out the brooms. They've been my team all year, ever since I acquired most of their starting rotation in my fantasy league. Of course I had Pujols too. But I also had Beltran and Wright and Glavine, AND DAMNIT HOW DID THE METS LOSE?!!

Seriously, If you're Carlos Beltran, in the 7th game of the NLCS, staring at a pitch that's close, your team is down by two, in the ninth inning, with the bases loaded, and two strikes against you, HOW DO YOU NOT SWING THE FRICKING BAT?! A whiff is one thing, but to never get the bat off your shoulder? Shameful.

I believe Detroit is going to win it, but not in a sweep.

They have been off for a week and the timing and mental aspect are a little off now. I think they will lose game 1, then take 2-5.

St. Loius is better then the Mets, and not overrated. They got there playing hard. Give them thier dues.

I would like to see it go 6, just for a little more fun.

I think baseball needs to end before footballs' regualr season starts.. Im shocked anyone is actually paying attention to the baseball games.. Just glad the Yankmeoffs didn't make it.

Well, St Louis is winning the series 2-1 and game 4 got rained out...lets see what happens.

well damn...that was a pretty good game 4...Cards win 5-4, lead the series 3-1, with game 5 in St Louis. Might not ever get back to Kenny Rogers. I gotta pull for the Cards, they are the default home team for Arkansas.
