Anyone biting off more than they can chew?
I guess I would be the first to start off the mentally unbalaced section, anyone else burning themselves at both ends?
Right now I work a full time job and go to school for 18 credits a semester and then another 12 during summer working towards my BA and MBA in Finance.
It usually messes up alot of my outside relationships with girls and such but I know it'll be worth it in the long run.
A DON DE ?

you ARE biting off too much. you must take time for yourself. stress can do many a nasty thing to you. you have to make time for you. doesn't matter what you do as long as it is something you enjoy and helps you relax/relieve stress. trust me on this one!

Re: Anyone biting off more than they can chew?
There's a very simple solution to this problem : don't sleep. Once you learn that, you'll find what amazing things you can do with an extra 5 hours a day. Granted...I'm using that time for extra video games, but I'm sure someone with motivation could do something productive!

Re: Anyone biting off more than they can chew?
I've tried so hard not to sleep, I eventually settled on trying to learn to sleep with my eyes open during class since I dont' pay attention anyway. Anyone know how to do that?

I've been there too. Fortunately, college life is nothing compared to corporate life. It only get's worse. Not that I want to give you a pessimistic impression of the real world, but the more money you want to earn, the less time you have. It goes back to the old concept of "time vs. money." Enjoy college!

Boy, that's true for sure - my boss has me working 50-60 hour work weeks, and then I usually have to put in a coupla more hours a day at home...fortunately there is light at the end of the tunnel, but not for a couple more months.
My kids are missing me!
BTW, California rox! I wouldn't be anywhere else!!

You think I could keep my car registered in New York and have it in california, it's pretty modified...? Also, how is the cost of living, right now I'm in college and working, pulling in around 900 every two weeks after taxes, not sure if that's enough to be living in so cal.

Re: Anyone biting off more than they can chew?
The CA DMV would make you register your car in CA after it expired in NY. And you wouldn't want to drive around here too long with NY plates anyway - there's a bit of an anti-NY sentiment out here; in fact people in CA don't like ANYONE from out of state - LOL!!! I hear the sentiment in NY towards CA is similar, too.
And as far as I know, CA & NY are pretty close in the cost of living department...too high! But your salary isn't out of line with what folks pull down out here...so do not despair. Besides, you might make a bit more out here if the scale for your field is higher here...

Re: Anyone biting off more than they can chew?
I moved across the country a week after graduating high school and now have to get enrolled in a college even though all the classes and financial aid's taken up already. Not sure what I'm doing or how I'll get there, but I'm swamped
