Yet the opinion of other students is that I am racist when I see, at 2 a.m. getting gas, a black male in his early twenties in a black hoodie and lock my car doors. I understand that racism is rampant in the south, but God damn, when is protecting yourself racist? I'm not saying dude walking by the Circle K is a robber; but when does caution make you racist? If a police advisory says a purple dinosaur is holding people up and Barney comes walking by at 2 a.m. wtf would you do?
