Hemp is, by far, Earth's premier, renewable natural resource. This is why hemp is so very important. 
I am a sustainable builder and attend the Solfest in Hopland, ca. everyear. Just about everything can be made from Hemp. It can be used to power automobiles, woven into fabric and rope, it's obvious medicinal uses and also for food. Heck, I've even eaten Hemp ice cream.
