I do have my facts straight. According to the FDA, the failure rate of the birth control pill, when taken correctly and never missed, is .01 %
That translates to 1 woman out of every 100.
Add to that the fact that this guy didn't ejaculate inside his girlfriend, and add to that the fact that there are only a few days during each menstrual cycle that it is possible for a woman to become pregnant.
I concede that 99.98% effectiveness does not equal 100%, but that effectiveness rate, coupled with the other considerations, is close enough in my opinion to say that there is no chance she's pregnant.
Again, I appreciate all your posts. But...judging my comment as BS and posting a reply to me as if I'm an idiot is completely uncalled for.

maybe not an idiot, but you still can't do math.
.01% means 1 out of 1000 women.
that, and you CAN miss a pill and still be good as long as you take it with or a little before your next day. I've done it many times, hell, i've even missed two days and i've never had a scare.
even still, no form of contraceptive besides abstinence is 100% foolproof. Condoms are supposed to be the same way but a friend of mine just found out she was pregnant. she'd only had sex a few times ever, used a condom every time, and still got knocked up. it can happen.
for the record, i don't use any contraceptive right now and i've been fine so far for the 6 months i haven't used anything. and i do it often. hey there mstad
just goes to show how no matter what you do or don't use anything can happen, or not happen
