I've heard it a million times. Pick something that you want to do and enjoy for the rest of your life and pick it while you can. Right now I'm obtaining a Computer Information Systems major at a
college, but I'm bored with it. For the last two semesters I've been taking a LOT of general courses while I decide what I want to do.
So far I've wanted to major in CIS, Psychology, Criminal Justice, but now I've found something that I've always been interested in since I was little...drawing stuff. What I've found is A Bachelor of Science in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics. But the school I've found is rather far from home, and it would be a major pain in my ass to leave all my friends and family. The school is in Minneapolis, which is the biggest city I've ever been around, and I am very overwhelmed by it.
Perhaps you older ladies and gentlemen could help. What would you do? Make a major life change to follow a dream and take a chance surviving in a big city, or stick with Mayberry?
