in the above case of eating a burger i can see that what you're saying is true: fantasizing about something will bring you one step closer to actually doing it. but the thing is there is nothing wrong or weird or taboo about eating a burger. it's just eating an effing burger! so there would be nothing that will stop you from eating said burger, unless of course you're vegetarian.
but here is a case where fantasy and reality are two very different things: i've read somewhere that non-consensual sex is actually one of the more popular female fantasies. but does that mean that i actually want to be raped? will i start hanging out in back-alleys and shady places hoping that some crazed guy will rip my clothes off, drag me behind a dumpster and fuck me til my throat is sore from screaming and i'm too exhausted to cry? one big HELL NO!
