i remember one time we drove up to austin to see kiss play at teh erwin center - and on teh way up it was raining..

there was a truck wrecked outside of san marcos that took us 35 minutes to get by - then the hotel we weent to overbooked, we got food poisoning at thundercoud subs, and ended up leaving the concert early because we had the shits. that sucked.

last spring break someone stole my gymbag full of clothes from the back of my truck. that had all my good drinking shirts in there too.

i hope they got some shit-stained undies or something too.

someone left my book of cd's in the back - and they got lost somewhere on the beach - over 60 storebought cd's...

I've had so many... but I kinda promised this one (see 'concert tales' thread).

So after the whole green beer and death thing we got up after about 2 hrs of sleep. We caught the 4am redeye Greyhound to NY, and it was FULL. I got one of the better seats next to a large woman who took 1.5 seats. The manager sat next to a woman whose baby wailed the entire time, and the DJ's got the back next to the commode (which stank to high heaven and the door didn't latch). Needless to say, none of us slept much on the bus.

When we finally arrived at the hotel around 8:30am and checked in we decided to clean up, meet in the hallway, and take in the radio station convention that we were there to attend. We ALL fell asleep and finally met around 5 pm, missing the entire thing.

ok went to ft hood to visit an old friend - drove up in an old 86 pontiac 6000 ste

made it up no problem - spent a lot of money - stayed for a week

then on teh way home with just enough money for gas and food my fucking module went out and the motor died..

took 2 days and had to pawn my saxaphone, but i finally got home...

then

i went back a week later to san marcos to get my sax outta the pawn shop - and i had a blow out and bent a rim

im never ever going to ft hood again...

i had to drive to north carolina with my parents once:( I guess that was the only shitty part of the trip... we went through kentucky and i got a private tour of the Rollex Kentucky Cross Country Course... and they let me ride the Tennessee Walking Horse on the tour... pretty sweet day I thought! but then i had to come home:(
