Microsquishy has banned all 360's on live with modded firmware/backups they banned the console ID rather than the user.

If you plan on modding your 360 stay off live...(local only)

People might find a way around this later.. but.. currently the "warez" scene does not know how they detected it.

you can get a full refund of your account on live if you have been banned.

I betcha you see a lot of modded 360's on ebay now.

Hmmm.. might be a good idea to get a 360 straight from the store and not off of Ebay, that is if I choose the 360 over ps3, I still can't decide which one I want!

I modded my xbox but now that I have a 360 I'm content just playing. I guess I'm just more grown up now and dont mind buying the games. Thanks for the heads up though!

if u got banned (dont try stealing / modding --- its really not worth the effort or frustration), just wrap ur 360 in a towel and leave it on overnight. HOPEFULLY, by then your 360 will RROD and you can send it back and get a new 360. Although I whole-heartedly hate modders / bridgers / cheaters, i dont think you should be permanately banned. I'm just hoping Halo 3 won't have the problem Halo 2 had with cheaters. At least this time we can record them cheating though
