Can anyone recommend me a good, simple video editing program. I heard Windows Movie Maker is really a piece of junk and isn't very good and for some reason doesn't except the video's I want to edit. I know Mac's have great and easy video editing software but unfortunately i don't have a Mac but i was wondering if there are any programs out there that compare with the Mac.

Hi Gerald, I don't quite understand??? Are you trying to edit video's your bringing into your computer or simply vids you've downloaded??? If it's vids you've downloaded then this is what I use. Very easy to use & does'nt take much system resources to work. Will split all but VOB. files (DVD). Just use your in & out & save them all to the same folder & after you've edited out what you don't want, then rejoin them. Works really good! I don't think I paid for the "Boilsoft Splitter", sooo I should have the serial numbers somewhere IF this is what your looking for!

I am looking to edit video's I have downloaded and one's I have recorded myself and uploaded to my computer. And I will look into the program you are using. And I want to be able to put like words, cut part out, mix different parts of the video around, add music that sorta of stuff.
