I used to use trillian, now Im using AIM.

I hate having it in my task bar all the time. Is there a way I can just make it in the system tray and not in the task bar while maximized?



If im not clear I mean I only want a small icon next to my clock and nothing else

i just press X on aim and it sticks it in the system tray...

Since it is being used when it is open like that I dont think there is anything you can do to get rid of it in the task bar, as far as i know anyway. sorry

oh i c... sorry, no unless its specifically coded into the software like for example winamp, you can choose where it shows up, then im not sure you can hide it in fact...

Id use an older version of aim, that new one sucks im running 5.5.. i dont know if 6 is the new one but just a heads up. i heard they loaded it up with a bunch of shit you dont need, the older versions just have the bare minimum
