Re: Unconditional
Yes, I just haven't completely found it yet.
But.. if you emotionally dedicate yourself to someone and you truely have that much feeling for them, you would never want to do something to hurt them, which means.. your love is uncoditional, and is never to go away.
The only way I could stop loving someone is if they hurt me emotionally or physically intentionally. If either of those happened.. my unconditional love would end on the spot.

Re: Unconditional
I believe there is. However, it is extremely difficult to achieve in dating relationships.
First off, you have the hurt and pain from previous relationships (I only mention this, because I am an expert on the subject). When you get hurt, lied to, or cheated on, it is extremely difficult to trust again. You can have the most trusting, honest person that you are currently dating, but it remains difficult because your dumbass ex ruined you.
Second, given all the outside factors and previously concieved notions, there it is really difficult to say "I will love you no matter what happens." It is one thing to say it, but another to put it into practice. What if your significant other cheated on you? What if your significant other was raped? What if your significant other wanted to see other people? Certainly, the middle situation is much stickier than the other two, but it still poses the same question.
Finally, unconditional love seems to be a phenominon within famililial relationships. It is so much easier to uncontionally love your mother/father/sister/brother/niece/nephew. They may do something to anger you, or hurt you, but that certainly doesn't change the way you feel about them (unless it is really, really bad) The best example of this is when a mother and father have a child who does poorly in school. Certainly, the parents are disappointed and perhaps angry with the child because they have not lived up to their potential/slacked off. But the parents will always love the child and do anything for him/her.
I think that is the only way I can describe it. It is possible to have unconditional love in a dating relationship, but it is very, very difficult because of the external factors. Those same factors (and different ones as well) do not evoke the same reactions in a famililial relationship.

you better belive there is. When you find that right person you know it and you love them unconditionally. I have found that person. I told vdawg that if he was broke or we were both broke and had nothing i would live in a bus stop with him. When you love someone so much you will do anything for them out of love and you love them no matter what!

Re: Unconditional
I have unconditional love from my mother.....no matter what i did to her or in this world she has my back and would do anything for me. I feel bad for any pain i might have put her through but i really do love her.....
Aww i love my mommy so much, i can't wait till she gets home from work so i can give her huggies and kisses! hehe...She's the best and if we were millionaires i'd have anything i could ever want, right along with her undying love and support (no matter how disappointing or aggravating or bratty i can be).
So yea, as i always say, i will NEVER find another love like my mothers!! Not from a friend, not from a lover, not from my children, NEVER!!! No one would be there for me as i cry endlessly or as i fail or as i'm bratty, people have limits, but not my mommy! Hehe

Re: Unconditional
I have two children...and just as you've said AmormiHombre...as a parent..there is no other love like the love for your child. You have never felt love more deep or more fulfilling than a parent/child love. That is true and forever unconditional love. No doubt about it. *smiles*
