Documentary on Serial Killers

So the other night I watched this nat geo documentary on the interpol investigation and search for "The Serpent" (Charles Sobhraj). This guy supposedly killed people around the world, eluding the police for years. When they finally caught him, he actually escaped by poisoning all the prisoners and guards with candy. I didn't think things realllly happened like that.

Re: Documentary on Serial Killers

I love watching documentaries about that kind of stuff. I saw one awhile ago about what makes a serial killer and one of the people they mentioned was a serial killer known as the Green River Killer. I saw an ad for a movie based those killings. Don't know much else about it though. Hopefully it tops Zodiac or Son of Sam.

There are tons of ads out for that movie. It's actually a miniseries on lifetime called The Capture of The Green River Killer. I think it airs this Sunday. I heard that it's based on a book written by the sheriff who spent 20 years tracking down the killer. That's pretty intense considering you're more or less dedicating your life to finding one man.

Re: Documentary on Serial Killers

I saw part one last night. Not too bad at all. I can't wait to watch part two tonight at 8. Did anyone else get to see this?
