Anybody have any idea which is better?
Roxio easy media creator 8 or Nero7 ultra.

I've been using a OEM copy of Roxio easy cd creator 5 for ever..
Combined with Pinicle ver.8 OEM.

Now i do some video editing with my DV camcorder.
And burn dvds, And CDs.

Anybody have an opinion which is better? And why?

Re: Easy media creator 8 VS. Nero ultra 7

Both are good IMO. It really depends on your preference. I personally have not used version 8 of Roxio but 7 was great. Nero is also a great product and seems to be more popular from what I hear. Currently Nero is the only one I have on my computer.

As far as which is better and why I really cant answer that. I honestly havent burned any video DVD's with Nero but have with v.7 of Roxio. The Roxio burn was quick and easy. Data DVD's with Nero are also easy, just like a CD.

Also, the newer versions of Pinnacle (10.5 I know for sure and I think 9 also does) allows you to burn DVD's straight from the program bypassing the need for Nero or Roxio for DVD video creation.

Also, I am pretty sure that both Nero and Roxio have demo versions of their products, you may want to get a demo of them and see which you like best. Like I said its really personal preference.

Hopefully this helps a little bit... Good Luck.

thanks!
The pinnicle I have does support DVD's
Just figured I might as well get rid of that since Nero and roxio allow you to capture and edit movies.
