Is anyone on the board excited about this ppv coming up on April 15? Arlovski vs Sylvia and The Huntington Beach Bad Boy, Tito Ortiz vs Forrest Griffin...Those two fights are going to be good ones. I say Arlovski destroys Tim Sylvia and Griffin beats Ortiz pretty bad. Also watch for Nick Diaz to beat the shit out of Sean Sherk. Diaz is a bad ass. Any other thoughts/ predictions?

Ortiz
Arlovski
Diaz

Griffin can take punishment, but I don't think his stand up game will last long vs Tito.
Arlovski is a badass on a whole new level so I don't expect him to lose either.
Diaz is a a new badass on the block (credit to the Gracie clan).

I like Forrest Griffin, but I would not put any money on him to beat Tito.

I agree, I would like to see another Griffin/Bonner fight. I would also like to see Chris Leben get another shot at Josh Koscheck. Their fight on The Ultimate Fighter was some bullshit on Koscheck's part. I'd like to see Leben beat his ass real good. And speaking of Leben he won his fight last night by judge's decision and Bonner beat Keith Jardine. Overall it was a pretty good Ultimate Fight Night Live last night.

Re: Ufc 59

Forrest got robbed. Seriously how that fight didn't go to O.T. is beyond me. And WTF is with the one judge that scored the fight 30-27 Ortiz??!! Everyone knows Forrest won the second round. The third round was just to close to call. Yes Tito had the last takedown but Forrest def got in the better shots.

I CAN'T BELIEVE SYLVIA BEAT ARLOVSKI! After Arlovski got that right I thought Tim was done....but fuck me he got up and jacked Andre. I am shocked.

Re: Ufc 59

I was officially the most pissed off I have ever been Saturday night when my cable decided to fuck totally up. It wouldn't let me order the damn PPV and I had to wait to read about it. Talk about bad fucking luck.

I was very surprised to hear about Sylvia knocking Arlovski out. I would have never thought that would happen. I am also surprised about the outcome of the Griffin/Ortiz fight. With Forrest fighting Ortiz so well, that at least gain him some more respect from some of the verteran fighters. From what I read, Forrest had a real bad cut early in the first round but won the second round and had a close third round. I have to admit, I am still a little pissed I missed it. I even tried ordering it today at 1:30 and still couldn't get the order completed...this was the first time it ever happend too.... So I say to my cable company....

I ordered it again, and it worked this time so I finally got to see this ppv. I agree with most of this assesment of the fights. The Ortiz/Griffin fight should have probably been a draw, but Ortiz definately won the first round and I believe he got the edge with the judges in the 3rd round with the take down that he got.

I was totally surprised to see Sylvia get up from that nasty right hook from Arlovski, I thought he definately had the fight won, had he pounced on Sylvia and finished him.

One fight I was very surprised with was the Diaz/Sherk fight. I was shocked to see that fight go to decision. I thought Diaz would for sure knock him out. Diaz is a scrappy guy and had the reach to do it, but Sherk controled most of the fight.

Anyways, sorry for bringing up old shit, I am just excited to finally get to watch it.
