Here's another problem I have.

The problem is I downloaded another torrent but the thing has a password on it but the place I got it from said nothing of a password.

So any of you know a good password cracker that I could use to crack it.

The file type is WinRAR if that helps any.

If any of you could help with that problem I appreciate it.

Ok Mr Moon.

a) Look at the website you got it off - they should have a list there
b) Look if there is a URL in the title of the downloaded file - that could also be it
c) goto the URL or any URL mentioned within the file - They would have a password list there or something to that effect.
d) look at the torrent details
e) Buy yourself 12 bottles off booze and prepare for a long haul using a brute force password cracker for rar's.

The password is usually the URL.

Try the domain url, "password", and such... trying to crack a compressed
archive takes... hmmm...

there is 56 printable char. in ascii...

8^56 (8 raised to 56th power, 56 varables, 8 variables long)
dont even think about 9...

basically it takes intel your an old old man if your lucky
