What should i expect? I've used Oxycontin a few times (2 times actually) recently and didn't notice that big of an effect. I was laid back but i thought it would have been alot stronger the way people talk about it. .. 20mg Oxys i used. I also broke 1 of the tabs in 3 pieces because it was my 1st,thought it would be strong,and wanted to take at different times but decided to take the whole thing. I know Roxy is Oxycodone without the time release but i wanted to hear from some who have used it. thanks

If it isn't time released it WILL get you high, just a little quicker, hence the term TIME-RELEASE. Do you ever take any kind of pain relievers? If you don't here are some tips some you don't croak:

• Do not crush, chew, or break controlled-release forms of oxycodone such as Oxycontin. Swallow them whole. They are specially formulated to release oxycodone slowly into your system. Breaking them would cause too much drug to be released into the blood at one time leading to a potentially fatal dose of oxycodone.
• Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. Oxycodone will cause drowsiness or dizziness. If you experience drowsiness or dizziness, avoid these activities.
• Avoid alcohol while taking oxycodone. Alcohol will greatly increase the drowsiness and dizziness caused by oxycodone and could be dangerous.
• Oxycodone may increase the effects of other drugs that cause drowsiness, including antidepressants, other antihistamines, other pain relievers, anxiety medicines, seizure medicines, and muscle relaxants. Dangerous sedation, dizziness, or drowsiness may occur if oxycodone is taken with any of these medications.
• Never take more oxycodone than is prescribed for you. Taking too much oxycodone could result in serious side effects, even death. If your pain is not being adequately treated, talk to your doctor.
• Do not share this medication with anyone else.

How do you think they got it in the first place? People here are questioning for their abusing pleasure. These meds aren't prescribed to most people who take them, including, I'm sure, the people in this forum.

My input, why don't you let these drugs stay what they were originally intended for? They are made for a reason, and abusing them is insane. People need to look more into the effects and outcomes of drugs before they uneducatedly abuse them.

yeah pretty much dont listen to matthew i chew snort or whatever i want with time release, as jimi said that is the point of it. You just have to find your limits for most people i would say a 40 mg time release chewed will fuck you up tough. Unless you doing this drug all the time, then its a little diffrent. And yes non time release will still get you high.

^god damn, I swallowed one 40mg once, just swallowed it and I was fucked up as hell, like I was on morphine or something, standing up for more than a couple of minutes made me nauseous, and I had a fairly decent tolerance to hydrocodone at the time

Hey guys, just be a little cautious. My girlfriend took three 20mg Oxycontins. Within an hour she's so groggy that she's in the bed, and she went into respiratory arrest about six hours later. We thought she was just sleeping them off like any other time, but she died that night. I started cpr the very moment she stopped breathing and we had the paramedics on her within ten minutes. She was in the emergency room within 45 minutes. All they could say was, it was too late. It was the time release thing. By the time her system shut down, there was no bringing her back. So please, from somebody who knows what can happen, please be careful with this drug.
