Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro
I've recently been working a lot with these two programs, more so PSP.
I was wondering if anybody had any tips for cool little stuff to do, or cool tutorials.
Two cool things I worked out is the "overlay" feature, and how to do brushed metal well.

Re: Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro
For Photoshop, Bert Monroy is the man check his web site and he has a bunch of tutorials he did for The Screen Savers back in the day all of which are very cool, no pun intended because of the Icy Letters tutorial either.
Also for PS don't forget to hit up http://share.studio.adobe.com/ for tons and tons and tons of stuff. Actions, brushes, swatches, shapes, plug-ins and more. You can spend hours there looking at everything. Word of warning, some actions don't work well on the newer versions of PS for some reason and some might require some extra plug-in from what is default installed.
Last PS tutorial tip; head over to your local book store or Amazon.com and look for The Photoshop <your version here> WOW! Book. I've got one for PS4 and it still works great in PS 5, 6, 7 and CS. Comes with a CD (well mine did) that includes some cool actions to perform the nice things the book shows off, and some lighty effects, that you can add to your PS folder.
For PaintShop Pro, sorry I can't help you there.

Re: Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro
It's (designed) to be very similar, so I'll check out Monroy's tutorials.
Thanks.

Re: Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro
Also a good one to check out is www.good-tutorials.com its cool cause you can search for a certain effects or whatever you are trying to do. The only thing about this place is sometimes the tutorials dont work anymore meaning its from a forum from somewhere else. Its like a google of photoshop tutorials.
